Position 1: Global Procurement Director of Lead and Zinc Mines

Job Responsibilities:

one,Global Supply Chain Management:

1. Responsible for the formulation and implementation of global procurement strategies for lead-zinc ore and related raw materials, and optimizing supply chain costs, quality and delivery cycles.

2. Develop and maintain international supplier resources (mines, traders, logistics service providers, etc.) and establish long-term cooperative relationships.

3. Monitor the global lead and zinc ore market trends (prices, policies, supply and demand, etc.) and adjust procurement plans in a timely manner to avoid risks.

2. Cross-regional coordination:

1. Coordinate procurement business in resource-rich areas such as Central Asia, Africa, and South America, and solve problems in logistics, customs clearance, payment, etc.

2. Collaborate with sales, finance, legal and other departments to ensure that the procurement process is compliant and efficient.

3. Language and negotiation support:

1. Directly connect with suppliers in English and Russian regions, lead contract negotiations and technical exchanges, and ensure that the terms are in line with the company's interests.

2. Translate or review key documents (such as contracts, bids, technical specifications) to avoid the risk of language ambiguity.

3. Compliance and Risk Management:

1. Be familiar with international mining trade rules (such as INCOTERMS), ESG standards and sanctions policies to ensure supply chain compliance.

 

Qualifications

1. Bachelor degree or above, major in mining engineering, international trade, supply chain management, metallurgy, etc. is preferred.

2. More than 5 years of international procurement experience in bulk commodities (lead and zinc ore, non-ferrous metals, etc.), familiar with mine direct mining or trading models. Candidates with resource development/procurement background in CIS countries (Russian-speaking regions) or English-speaking countries are preferred.

3. Must be proficient in English and Russian (fluent in listening, speaking, reading and writing), and be able to independently complete business negotiations, contract writing and technical document translation. Mastering other languages (such as Spanish and French) can be a plus.

4. Strong ability to withstand pressure, good at cross-cultural communication, and possess keen market insight and risk awareness.

Requirements: Experience in copper concentrate, blister copper, electrolytic copper, recycled copper, copper rod, crude lead and refined lead.
